In the application of CURTIS (or other brands) motor controllers, especially for replacing an old controller, there are always some problems to be resolved. It is a normal rs-232 serial interface. Just the 3 wires to connect, but some other wires have to be shorted at the PC end. The wires to short are the handshaking ones 4,6,1 shorted together 7,8 shorted // Here is a 2007 version of the Curtis programmer software. If anyone has a newer version please add // I couldn't upload an EXE file here so changed the file extension to.rtf.
